SO WHAT IS LASER SKIRMISH?

Laser SkirmishChallenge Laser Skirmish is an outdoor combat team sport; think paintball without the bruises. Laser skirmish is a lot like a LIVE version of Call of Duty with a strong emphasis on small unit tactics and leadership. Each player is given a laser tagger and a hat to which two sensors are attached (one at the front, one at the back) to carry onto the battle field. Players then battle through a series of military style combat situations such as VIP escort, Attack Defend and wipe out.

Each player’s laser tagger keeps track of the player’s lives, shots in the clip and how many magazines a player has remaining, hits and kills. For our outdoor laser parties, we provide a range of laser taggers which are designed to simulate real life as closely as possible. This means that each weapon has different specifications including range, weight, clips size and reload time. This variety means that tactics become a much bigger part of the game than other indoor laser games where all players have the same weapon. SO WHERE CAN I PLAY?

We run our laser games in Melbourne, at venues in Wallan, Cockatoo and Skye, 7 days a week. We require a minimum of 8 people to run a game, so we may combine small groups to get minimum numbers. If you don’t have the numbers, you can call us to organise to join in with another group!

Our inflatable battlefield is great for outdoor laser tag backyard parties, corporate or fundraising events at your venue.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Participants in our outdoor laser tag must wear suitable closed in shoes that will provide traction and ankle protection. Light weight bush walking boots are best, but runners are acceptable.

Thongs, high heels and fluffy slippers are not permitted!

We have camouflage overalls which are included in the group packages or which can be hired on the day. If you don’t want to use the camouflage, we advise wearing long trousers and a top with sleeves to protect yourself while you’re moving through the bush.

A change of clothes is a good idea on wet days and don’t forget the sunscreen.

BBQ, picnic, Eftpos facilities and drinks are all available at the bush laser venues. No Eftpos at Cockatoo.

OUTDOOR LASER SKIRMISH FIELDS

Here at Challenge Laser Skirmish, we have three massive outdoor laser skirmish fields here in Victoria. Based in Wallan, Cockatoo and Skye, our locations are easy to get to from Melbourne and are the perfect venues for your laser tag battles. Alternatively, laser tag can be played at your own venue. Simply choose a suitable location and we will bring the lasers packs and plenty of fun obstacles.

WALLAN

Our Wallan laser tag fields are located only 45 minutes from Melbourne. These beautiful and expansive bushlands will be the perfect backdrop for the battlefield carnage that will take place. Please note that paintballing is only held at this location. Our other locations are only available for laser tag.

COCKATOO

Our Cockatoo outdoor laser skirmish fields are 70km from Melbourne, 40 minutes from Dandenong, 1 hour from Frankston, 30 minutes from Ferntree Gully and 50 minutes from Gippsland. Enjoy playing capture the flag and team deathmatch on these large bushland grounds.

SKYE

Our Skye laser tag fields are only 45 minutes from Melbourne, 15 minutes from Frankston and 20 minutes from Dandenong. To book in for a birthday party, buck’s night or hen’s night, contact us today.
